I've been playing for 9 years now, stared with classical then went on to rock and metal. At 14 I got into Jazz and excessively technical music.
My main influences were Hendrix, Opeth and Led Zeppelin, but my main driving force has been my friends.
I've come close to giving up in my youth but have always wanted to play guitar. What kept me passionate was people I jammed with and songs that really changed my life.
I got into the band late, I had a CD sent to me by Nigel and was really impressed with the sound, so I went in for an audition. After meeting the guys, we played and really clicked. I haven't looked back.
I have been in bands before but nothing very serious. Mainly acoustic solo stuff, but my main focus has always been lead.
